I would say the best part of our school is the STEM program. The whole point of that program is to teach you critical thinking and problem solving skills, and those two skills are much more applicable than to just a science or math field.

Our award-winning Robotics, Drones, and Aviation programs in The Woodlandsprovide students with exciting opportunities to explore advanced technologies and develop essential durable skills. Our curriculum emphasizes teamwork, critical thinking, and real-world applications of STEM concepts, allowing students to design, build, and operate various robotic systems and drones. Other programs include 3D Printing, Coding, AP® Computer Science, and more.
Robotics Program
Our Competitive Robotics Teams, accessible through selective tryouts in August, compete in local and international Vex Robotics competitions. Since 2021, our teams have consistently reached the VEX IQ World Championship, earning numerous awards along the way.
Drones & Aviation Education
ANCS was proud to be the first North Houston private school to offer Drones & Aviation education, launched in August 2022. With funding through the AMP! Innovators Award from Rice University/Conoco Phillips, students from 6th grade and up can enroll in this pioneering program.
Eligible high school students who complete our two-year Drone Education Program will earn certification as commercial drone pilots, alongside training in entrepreneurship. Our partnership with Aha! Education LLC provides students with valuable resources and mentorship.
Middle school students can also take Drones & Aviation as an elective, with opportunities to compete against other schools. In Spring 2023, our students showcased their skills, winning First and Second Places in the inaugural youth Drone Competition involving regional North Houston high schools.
